Yeah, um... I'm not really sure why that happened. He might have seen the originals, but I don't recall ever telling him that the originals would be public domain. I keep all my pixel art under a tight wrap, and over 70% of that content is of a certain persuasion to reinforce why (Granted I have done pixel art work for some games, websites, etc., but that other sort of content, well...).
